Kira Kira

As from the last.fm page said; Kira Kira is a constant enigma- extremely hard to define and almost impossible to anticipate. As a founding member of Icelandic art collective Kitchen Motors, she has been a pivotal figure in contemporary Icelandic music, composing music extensively for theatre, dance and film and creating myriad sound and film installations everywhere from Beijing to New York. Taking a particular interest in blurring the lines between music and visual arts Kira has often appeared in castle towers, gallery spaces or curious hidden places and created lasting images of singing black holes, dueling smoke machines and exploding cassette tapes across the globe.

One of my favourite author of manga/graphic novel. Actually i don't have the book, this is just some scanlation from KURUTTA. I think 100 is an almost silent comic with somehow abstract picture with cool color, i just post some of my favourite page.

hyakkei

Most of the song by hyakkei are relaxing, less-rock, easy listening tracks with fancy drumming. As they first album tagged hyakkei not 百景, but in their second they tagged both 百景 and hyakkei so it's kinda confusing on last.fm, but i prefer the kanji anyway.

Problem Solving 101

A book by Ken Watanabe (no, not that movie star) about problem solving, it is about how you get your dreams come true, and a step by step how to make it and realize it. And the good thing is there are some example in this book with some cool funny kind of illustration.

I buy this book because i think i need it for some things. Like design problem or any life achievement stuff. Very recommend for anyone for shherrriousshhlyyy.

Mean Machine

Do you like girl who rock? well, i do. Especially if it's YUKI hh.. But in this band she's the drummer alongside Chara, yeah two drummers in a band and they both a singer so they sing too (while drumming of course).

YUKI ワンダーライン + COSMIC BOX

These are two newest single of japanese singer YUKI. 1st is Wonderline, it contain three tracks. Just wait for her next album.

Rule of Rose

When i buy this game, i don't have a clue if it's good or bad. I buy it because simply i need a horror game for fill my time. The story span on 11 months on 1930, a noir oldies delusional horror. The in game design is good, it's like an old mix from scary fairy tale to survival horror with a sadcore. I know this is an old game, but i just finish it recently on 1 day only. Well this is the trailer, more like an opening of this game.

Well well i bought this two mini little car, a yellow cool classic mini cooper one and a modern one, a maroon porsche cayyens.

THE ROAD

A novel by Cormac McCarthy. An epic postapocalyptic tale about father and son who trying to survive in the wasted world of ashes. The plot in the novel are somehow slow then whenever things happening it becomes a bit fast. The thing is there's no chapter on the novel not even paragraph, it's only about 2 or 3 space between some little part, maybe that's what make me read it till the end, and it feel more postapocalyptic that way anyway. The author didn't give a name on the character, it's only father and son, papa and the boy, or else. They gone on the journey to warm place on the south.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs SNAKESWEAT

Made for promotion of their newest album it's blitz.

A mescaline-infused short featuring the YYYs playing severely warped versions of themselves. Together, they try to "lose their minds in order to recover purity of truth." And stuff. Directed by Barney Clay.

I'm kinda hope their next album are more like those video, more rock n' roll like they used to be.

Ableton Live 8

While browsing i find a good news on Ableton website, it's about Able 10 some kind of a free giving by ten artist. Well ten artist giving one of they song file in Ableton format, and the good news is one of my favourite artist, an icelandic band múm give one of their song in Ableton Live file which i think is on their newest album.

machinarium

machinarium is a point and click flash game by amanita design from...czech i think. The world is in some kind post apocalyptic scene, where there's no flesh and bone creature, just robot and electricity, in the steam punk color scheme. It's really an awesomely designed game, from the background the character and especially the great soundtrack from tomas dvorak which make this game feel so relaxing (except the puzzle wich is really damn confusing at one time or another).

CONV3RS3

3 brand new shoes that i bought recently. Not quite expensive, but since it give a discount if i buy two, well there's nothing to lose ain't it?

The Red one, Full color one with that cool neon green shoelace which i bought separately, and Grey black, the newest. Pretty convenient huh?  I try some custom on Converse website, i wish they can ship to my place.

toe

toe is one of my favourite japanese post-rock, math-rock band. You know, the drum play of this band is incredible. Rather than the bass or piano and guitar. Actually the guitar is cool too. Well i think if usually a frontman is a vocalist, on this band the frontman is a drummer.

I'm not really good on describe their music so this is from their last.fm page; "The vast majority of the music is instrumental and features the swift and acute drumming of Takashi. The band has changed their sound over their musical tenure by incorporating acoustic guitars, rhodes piano, and vibraphones in their most recent releases."
